AI Productivity Training for Tax Consultants.

Reduce repetitive admin, improve client communication and train your team to use AI tools safely — with practical training built specifically for tax consultants and small tax practices.

What tax consultants use AI for

AI tools are not about replacing tax expertise — they are about removing the low-value, repetitive tasks that eat into your time every day.

Email templates

Draft clear, professional client emails for common scenarios — document requests, follow-ups, appointment confirmations and fee explanations — without starting from scratch every time.

Document checklists

Generate tailored tax return and BAS document checklists based on client type — individual, sole trader, company or SMSF — so clients know exactly what to bring.

Client reminders

Create templates for BAS due date reminders, tax return season prompts and outstanding document nudges — reducing the time spent on routine follow-up.

Summarising information

Summarise ATO rulings, legislative changes or practice guidelines in plain English for your team — saving research time and making complex material easier to communicate.

SOP creation

Build written standard operating procedures for common workflows — tax return preparation, BAS lodgement, new client onboarding — so your team follows the same process every time.

What the training covers

What NOT to put into AI tools

Most general-purpose AI tools — including free chat tools — are not designed for handling sensitive personal or financial data. Inputting client information into these tools may breach your privacy obligations under the Privacy Act and damage client trust. Never input the following into any AI tool unless it is a secured, compliant platform specifically approved for that purpose:

  • Client Tax File Numbers (TFNs)
  • Client bank account or financial details
  • Private client information (names, addresses, income figures)
  • Business financial records or accounting data
  • ATO correspondence with personal identifying information
  • Salary, super or employment details of individuals

AI training from Ibex Tax Consultants covers safe use practices, privacy obligations and what your team should and should not do when using AI tools in a tax practice context.
